CONNS FILTER BANKS
According to the required flow rate (m3/hr), CONNS will design, manufacture, assemble and ship completed skid mounted modular plug and play filter banks.
MODULAR
CONNS filters are smaller than traditional larger diameter filters and are easily added onto existing systems to increase capacity or improve performance. Our filters are light weight and easy to handle eliminating the need for large and expensive cranes and lifting equipment.
COST SAVING
A CONNS filter banks cost on average 40% less than traditional, large diameter fabricated filtration systems. Our off-the-shelf filters are produced at a lower cost and in a fraction of the time of our competitors filters. Additionally, our smaller diameter filters are easier to backwash and are less prone to channelling and mud-balling.
UNIQUE BACKWASHING TECHNIQUE
Over the years, we have developed a unique and cost effective filter backwash system. Traditional filters require up to 5 valves to perform backwash and filtration runs. CONNS filters require only a single backflush valve to perform both functions. Additionally no backwash pump is required, which further reduces the initial and ongoing maintenance costs of our filtration systems.
A typical complete modular CONNS Filter Bank comprises of the following:
Primary sandfilters, secondary discfilters, electrically operated combination hydraulic backwash valves, air valve(s), Hotdip galvanised inlet and outlet manifolds, pressure gauge kit, PVC flushing manifold, nuts, bolts & packings, backwash timer/controller + transformer, HDG metal skidframe, and required filtration media.
